I was trying to find examples of branding that utilized motion graphics as a way to display a brand's identity. Unfortunately, I was unable to find many at all. I wrote notes on the key points (color palette, icon formation, mockups) I felt were important to incorporate into the video and built everything out from there. This was so much fun and a perfect way to keep learning new uses for motion graphics.
This is a part of a larger design process. This was the first time I made a motion graphic advertisement for a brand and I am extreamly happy with my work. I remember growing up watching early 2000s' ads and always loved the playful aesthetics of a lot of the commericals.
This was one of my first projects in Adobe After Effects. I wanted to work through many of the effects in Ae and decided to make this clown entity that each blink reveals a new mini animation.
I felt so inspired when I heard the audio that I worked for way too long without a break. I love this motion graphic. I wanted to learn more about Ae's tools and effects for typography. This project was so much fun as it allowed for me to make text that had an art feel. I have enjoyed my studio classes so much and will always explore how to take my lessons from traditonal art into my graphic design.
I really enjoyed working with kinetic typography and using audios to help my creative process. I chose this song due to its fun vibes and fast pace. I struggled with getting the text to line up with the audio after realizing there was an audio lag to my headphones which caused some issues, but I worked through them.
I wanted to follow a brand's guidelines/style for a pre-existing motion graphic. I decided to follow/make a version of the WWE RAW motion graphic that plays while waiting for the live stream to start. Watching the original graphic closely and ideating on how I could do similar but original animations for my parody was fascinating.
This project was largely inspired by kaleidoscopes and the idea of being drawn into the motion of a kaleidoscope. I wanted to see if I could create fast moving illustrations to mimic the patterns/effect of a kaleidoscope,
For all of my motion graphic projects I have used Adobe Effects. However I know other tools such as Procreate have their own capabilities. For this project I took my base image and drew different vibrant "phases." After getting several different designs I began trying to create the animation in Procreate, ultimately I decided to export everything into Ae.
